Bifurcation Lesion Interventions

Bifurcation lesion interventions present unique challenges in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) due to the complex anatomy involved. Advances in techniques and devices, such as drug-eluting stents and specialized balloon catheters, have improved the management of these lesions. Optimal strategies often involve the use of a two-stent technique or provisional stenting, tailored to the individual patient's anatomy and lesion characteristics.
